Weekly Sessions
Weekly Beaver, Cub and Scout sessions take place at Wrecclesham Community Centre or at various locations depending on the activity they will be doing. This sessions are usually at the following times:
Beavers: 5.00pm - 6.15pm
Cubs: 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Scouts: 7.30pm – 9.00pm
When dropping your child/children off at each session, they must not be left until enough uniformed leaders are present, and they are ready to start the session. Leaders will indicate when they are ready and will not be responsible for your child until that point. If your child is being picked up by another parent you must inform the leaders at the start of the session who this is.
We ask that parents arrive promptly before the end of the session to ensure their child is picked up on time. When picking up your child you must inform a leader which child/children you are taking before leaving. If a session is due to overrun then a message will be posted on the relevant Facebook page for each section.
Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure Scouts gain the full benefit of the program. There is also more demand for Scouting than there are places therefore we will prioritise a place for a child who can regularly attend our meetings. If a child is regularly absent then a member of the 12th team will be in touch to discuss the child's membership. If your child will be absent due to illness after signing up then please inform your section leader.
