Payments
Subs
All payments to 12th Farnham are made via the OSM system. Upon joining 12th Farnham you will receive an OSM email asking you to set up a subscription for your Beaver, Cub or Scout. You can either set up an automatic subscription (the easiest and preferred way), or manual payments, however manual payments must be paid by the due date stated, this is normally before the start of each term.
Subs are payable at the start of each school term. An email will be sent out prior to this requesting payment and will be due by the date shown on the request. The amount is currently set at £49 per full academic term – equating to around £4.90 per session.
If payment is not made by the due date, then you will be contacted by a member of the 12th Farnham team, as non-payment may forfeit your child's place within the group.
Financial assistance may be available for any families experiencing financial hardship, please talk to your section leader in confidence about this.

- Membership to the Scout Association, which includes insurance when participating in Scouting activities (currently £17 per term per member);
- Ensuring maintenance and upkeep of our camping equipment and storage facility fees;
- Cost of Scarves, Woggles and badges earned by the Young People;
- Purchase of equipment and materials required to run section meeting activities;
- Subsidy of at least one special event per term, we often pay 50% of the cost (Donutting / Climbing / Kayaking)

Special Events & Camps
For special activities (e.g. activities provided on our behalf by external organisations), there is sometimes an additional fee to cover the cost. Similarly, camps or sleepovers will attract an additional fee.
For these activities you will receive an OSM email asking you to sign up for each one, and payment may be required at the time, or due at a later date.
Where payment is due at a later date or there is no payment due; by signing up, you are confirming your commitment to the activity cost and any cancellations after this time, or non attendance on the day will be liable for the full amount (unless we are able to fill the space).
Any refusal of payment owed may forfeit your child's place within the group.
